When you request a quote, use the contact form, or place an order, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, country of residence, company name if provided, and the content of your documents submitted for translation.
Payment is processed exclusively by Stripe. We do not receive, store, or process your card details. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own Privacy Policy.
Our web server logs IP addresses, browser type, and page visits for security purposes. This data is retained for 30 days and is not linked to personal identity.
Documents you submit are treated as strictly confidential. They are shared only with the translator assigned to your project, who has signed a non-disclosure agreement. We do not use client documents to train AI systems. We do not share client content with third parties outside your project team.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data. Email hello@fastytranslate.com with subject "GDPR Request." We respond within 30 days.
When a project requires a translator outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decision).
You may lodge a complaint with the Louisianan State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA) if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully.
