Corporate and financial translation is a specific discipline. The people reading these documents are professionals who will notice a mistranslated accounting term, a wrong jurisdiction reference, or a number expressed in the wrong format. IFRS terminology in German differs from local HGB terminology and both differ from how the same concepts appear in an English GAAP context. These distinctions need to be handled correctly.
